Description

Contractors' Continuing Education Day is hosted by HBA Platinum Industry Partner ProSource Wholesale and Gold Industry Partner Holmes Building Materials. The day will include four (4) topics/sessions (1.5 hours each) to provide builders with all six (6) Continuing Education credits needed for the year.

Agenda:

  • 8:30 AM -  Doors open and light breakfast
  • 9:00-10:15 AM - 1st Session - 2023 Building Code Changes - Blake Steiner, Chief Building Official, EBR City-Parish
  • Mid-morning break (coffee, tea, sodas, water)
  • 10:30-11:45 AM - 2nd Session - Outdoor Kitchen and Living Spaces - Richard Ourso, Ourso Designs
  • 11:45 AM-12:45 PM - "Working" Deli Lunch Buffet
  • 12:15-1:30 PM - 3rd Session - AIA/ Barrier Free Applications - Chris Daffer, Schlüter
  • Afternoon break (cookies, blondies, brownies, coffee, tea)
  • 2:00-3:00 PM - 4th Session - Construction Contracts - Ted Laperouse, Construction Law Attorney, Laperouse Law
