Industry Meeting: Building & Growing Together

Description

Q1's Industry Meeting is focused on licensing. It is a free event, and food and alcoholic beverages will be provided. Additional parking is available in the student lot.

The event will be an open house setting from 4:30 to 6:30 where subs can start their licensing process. Free notary will be available. 

Schedule:

4:30 p.m. - doors open, food & beverage available.

5:00 p.m. - seminar on general contracts with Teresa Cop of Kaster & Cop, LLC

6:00 p.m. - seminar on remodeling contracts

6:30 p.m. - wrap up

Steps in the licensing process:

1. Fill out your application and financial statement before Jan. 23rd (we will have them available day of)

2. Bring your application to our event for free notary & let us deliver your application to the Louisiana State Licensing Board.

3. Once you receive communication from LSLBC, schedule your business law exam and any necessary trade exam at the location of your choice.

4. Submit proof of insurance to the LSLBC.

So join us to get your subs licensed & get invaluable resources on contracts for 2019.

(We ask that you register ahead of time, so that we may have an accurate headcount. However, walk-ups are welcome).
