Georgetown Climate Center (GCC) and Capital Region Planning Commissions (CRPC) are pleased to invite you to a webinar to release Greauxing Resilience at Home: A Regional Vision. The Regional Vision was developed in collaboration with policymakers, community members, and other stakeholders in Region Seven of the Louisiana Watershed Initiative located in southeast Louisiana. It offers an innovative legal, planning, and policy resource to promote community resilience through housing and nature-based solutions in places where flooding, extreme weather events, and other factors are driving population changes and transition.

Who is the Regional Vision for?
All are welcome for this webinar, but the resources included in the Regional Vision will be especially beneficial for local and regional governments and organizations who work on housing, flood mitigation, and/or resilience. Housing, flooding, and resilience are critical issues that affect nearly everyone in Louisiana’s Region Seven watershed, in addition to others throughout the state, the Gulf Coast region, and nationally. The Regional Vision was informed by people living in this region, including experts from government, non-profit organizations, and academia. For more information about this work, please see our partnership announcement on the GCC website.
